About Rotary

From promoting peace to providing clean water, Rotary has emerged as the name for change and transformation. Over the last century, Rotary has worked on grooming leaders to resolving conflicts and fighting to drive polio out of this planet. Our effort with Government of India’s ‘Pulse Polio’ programme has taken the vaccine to millions of children, freeing the country of the crippling disease. When the vaccine is ready for distribution in our country, the nation can count on the rotarians to take the remedy to every doorstep in India.

In Rotary, we connect the dots by connecting the hearts. we inspire ordinary people to be powerful agents of change. In the footsteps of our great tradition, join Rotary Bangalore Abilities to experience true empowerment and ability.

Rotary Bangalore Abilities is the first ever club that has brought together persons with disability, giving them the opportunity to make a difference. Members have strived hard against all odds to distinguish themselves at various work and career pursuits. The club has come about from the strong belief that the society must benefit from their tenacity, perseverance and ‘never-say-no’ attitude. Through Rotary, they have discovered the platform to be worthy contributors to the society, to make themselves be counted, and to be true leaders.

Currentlly, they are 23 members and counting. If you would like to be part of this journey, why not attend a couple of their meetings and become an agent of change?

“I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold, service was joy.”

-Rabindranath Tagore
